NIU Social Media Law Symposium on April 15th
Northern Illinois Law School is hosting a symposium this friday entitled, Legal Implications of Social Media Hashtag: First Amendment & Ethics. Here is the school’s blurb on the event.
The Northern Illinois University Law Review will host its 25th annual symposium from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 15, on “Legal Implications of Social Media/Hashtag: Constitution & Ethics.” Cora Moy is the symposium editor.
Featured speaker Marc D. Ginsberg will explore authentication and usage of social media as evidence.
Ginsberg is professor and reporter with the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Illinois Evidence. He also is director of the Center for Advocacy & Dispute Resolution and associate professor of law at the John Marshall Law School.
